Gym Challenge is the name given to the seventh main expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In Japan, it was released as Challenge from the Darkness. It features Generation I Pokémon and is themed around the last four Gym Leaders of the Kanto region. The English expansion was released on October 16, 2000, while the Japanese expansion was released on June 25, 1999.
